
Ingredients:
- 1,5 l cold water
- 500 g potatoes diced
- 100 g vegetables (onion, celeriac, carrots, parsnips) diced
- 50 g wild mushrooms ( porcini could be used also) chopped
- 70 g butter
- 50 g flour
- salt
- 1 clove of garlic chopped
- 1/4 ts marjoram
Melt butter in heavy 4-qt sauce pan. Add diced potatoes, celeriac, parsnips, onions, and carrots. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally until lightly browned. Sprinkle with flour, and stir until well coated. Add cold water, marjoram, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to very low, and partially cover pot. Simmer for 25 min, until potatoes are tender.
